"A Sense of Time" virtual lecture series 

Control of New Netherland gave way to the English in 1664. The transition was mostly peaceful but not without defiant resentment. In this segment of the Albany Institute’s video series, we will explore the changes both apparent and subtle, that altered a colony and brought about the creation of an amalgamation of cultures commonly referred to as the American melting pot.
