The sloop "Experiment" with all sails set, crosses the Indian Ocean on her historic voyage to China.    

Experiment at Sea depicts the sloop as it might have appeared during Captain Stewart Dean's historic voyage to China. Somewhere in the Indian Ocean on a moonlit night the wind is getting brisk and the crew is scrambling to cut sail before the wind snaps her bowsprit and mast. These were courageous sailors braving a variety of dangerous conditions on a very lonely sea during an amazing voyage.
