"Len Tantillo is an artist in the tradition of the Dutch masters of the 17th century. But unlike his predecessors, Tantillo doesn't paint what he sees. He recreates places in the common history of New York State that none of us have ever seen. He isolates us in a moment past, and through his exquisite talent, makes us accept his vision of these lost worlds as restored reality."
